What to do

The Snowy Mountains offers a such vast array of things to do that there is bound to be something in the region that suits your personality and likings. In fact, there is so much to do, we had a hard time figuring out how to put it all on this section of our website without it being a case of information overload!

The best way to categorise things to do in the Snowy Mountains is by season, namely Winter (June to September) and Summer (October to May). Here is a bit of information about what to do in each season.

Winter

Winter is typically the most popular time to visit the Snowy Mountains because of the snow and related snow activities available at the alpine ski resorts.

There are 4 main resorts in the Snowy Mountains:

• Selwyn Snowfields
• Charlotte Pass
• Thredbo
• Perisher
